Hello Sir, I have bought 200 shares of VITLINFO at Rs.38, after some days this stock split and again I have bought 100 shares at Rs.20.96. After one week they have credit 100 free shares into my account. Now I am having 400 shares with me. Now I am confused what is the average rate I will get? At which rate I can sell this stock? Can you please provide a solution for this.

Hi Sreedhar Reddy, what is the big confusion there? On each of your transactions you can calculate the total cost involved. So add up the total cost, and divide by the number of shares you are having now, and you will get the average cost. To illustrate: You bought 200 @ 38, cost = 7600, 100 @ 20.96, cost = 2096. You got 400 shares now. So average cost (7600+2096)/400. You can also include your brokerage to the cost if you want.

Hi SJ, the markets are likely to see a correction upto 4500, get some more @ 82-84 and average your cost. The scrip would see 120-130 very soon...

Hello CB,
Info on this site is very useful to find the Support, Resistances, RSI index of a stock and are very very accurate.
you are providing the chart of any stock with RSI index of 14 days, I request you to provide the RSI index of 21 days, which would be more accurate. To my knowledge 21 days RSI index is the mostly used by many stock experts worldwide.
I learnt alot from NSEguide.com, I am just at intermediate level in technical analysis.
Pls correct me if i am wrong.

hi cb, holding 500 paper product @56.4 what shall i do? what is the target?
today alkali metals went to 277 and i sold 200 of my alkali bought at 282. still holding 200.
