Hai,all rare telling monday nifty open down more than 50 points due to china hike rate,
that is an confirm news or what?
if rate hike means where we can see the nifty on monday
CB, replies: Hi ramesh, yes, rate hike is negative for the markets. seems may open a bit lower. 15-20 points. not sure of a 50 point gap down yet. depends on how Asian markets open

HI CB,
I have gone short ...again in unitech [from Jan series ]
As there is no sign of correction yet... shall I exit tomorrow ..pl?
May I know the general consensus for now.. will there be a short covering rally ,from next week ?...if so shall I convert and go long instead ..pl?
Also , can I enter ..SELL nifty Opt:PA 6400.00 / 27 Jan .if and when , the rally does happen ,before expiry this month ...thereby , expect a 10% gain end of jan..PL?

CB, replies: Hi Gitanjali, yes, its been moving in a small range of 61-65 since long. seems markets may open a bit lower on Monday. hold it for now. regarding the put if rally does not happen 6400 put will gain. you can short a 6400 call in this case, but again, it will be already trading at a lower price

How do u see Reliance Capital Futures on Monday morning?...It closed strong on good volumes and technically looking good...so where do u see it opening?...Now since China has hiked rates do u think there would be any huge impact or do u think that it would open higher since it is strong technically?
