How market likely to behave on monday, how is hero honda looking?

Hi CB, I wd like to know ... who is a writer?
we are called as 'writer' ..when we sell a put or a call , are we??
Can I sell Suzlon opt:put at 45.. a few days before expiry ..?[if the mkt goes strong ]?
or sell a ranbaxy opt:call at 600 , if mkt becomes weak ...just before expiry...pl?

nevertheless .. wd like a clarification.. when we sell[write] .. the amount gets duly credited , to our accounts .... and the decay factor actually helps a 'writer' ..does it?..and no need to place cover ...is that how it works .. pl?

CB, replies: Hi sarath, no, did not get 1st question. if you enter a 6000 call at 5948 and markets start to correct, call value can come to as low as rs. 0 or 1. if markets dont move anywhere till expiry, then the time decay factor can bring the price of the call lower to 2-5rs

hi this only studying option trading
what happen when i buy a 6000 put option at 5948 (closing price) and the market is nowhere reaching 6000 downing to 5500

sir if i have a 6000 put option i have the right to sell at 6000 .if the nifty come down to 5800 i can sqaure off it at 5800and makes a profit at 200
