Those shares will be procured through auction within 5 or 6 days. Until then, your amount will be blocked.If those shares will get trade below your sold price during auction,u will be in gain otherwise u will be in loss.Please note auction charges will also be charged from you.

Hi arun bj, shorting in cash market is okay only for intraday...meaning you have to square off your position before market closes...otherwise those shares will go for 'auction'
