Dear Kartik,
Why has the market suddenly plunged? Is there any reason? And usually when the nifty plunges so much, Sensex plunges by about 300+pts. But today it seems to be down only by less than 200 pts. How do you read it?
Please advise.

Kartik, replies: Hi Kris, yes, usually does this way on expiry..overall a close belwo 5800 would be a weak one. did manage to recover a bit by close.

kartik..I have 1,00,000 cahs right now and I need it on 17th Dec for higher studies admissions.. I am planning to apply for MOIL Even I get the shares, I wil sell them on listing day(14th Dec most probably)... Shall I go ahead?? if markets are weak, will it affect good IPOs?

Hi Karthik,
My question is two part -
A] Now that Nifty is below 5800 [5799.75] - What would be the next support level?...I have heard that it is 5700 for Nifty and also Sensex could go all the way to 16500-16000...Your thoughts?
B] I am holding Maruti Suzuki DECEMBER FUTURE SHORT..It gave a breakdown and a very weak closing..What level can i book profit tomorrow?
