Credit Suisse First Boston (Singapore) buys 16.4 lakh shrs of Avon Corp
Avon Corporation touched an intraday high of Rs 10.19 and an intraday low of Rs 8.38. At 15:22 hours the share was trading at Rs 8.38, down Rs 0.93, or 9.99%.
It was trading with volumes of 10,331,692 shares, compared to its 5-day average of 7,311,574 shares, an increase of 41.31%.
Credit Suisse First Boston (Singapore) bought 16,41,799 shares of Avon Corporation at Rs 9.29 a share on Thursday.
It was also bought by JMP Securities (5.71 lakh shares) and Bull Private Ltd (3.5 lakh shares) the past week.
On Thursday the share closed up 9.92% or Rs 0.84 at Rs 9.31.
The company touched its 52 week high Rs 11.28 and 52 week low Rs 4.85 on 10 Feb, 2010 and 04 Nov, 2010, respectively. Currently, it is trading -25.71% below its 52-week high and 72.78% above its 52-week low.
Market capitalisation stands at Rs 54.12 crore.
