SC Mehta of Deepak Fertilisers re-elected Chairman of FAI
At the Annual General Meeting of the Western Regional Committee of the Fertiliser Association of India, held in Pune, Shri S C Mehta Vice Chairman & Managing Director of Deepak Fertilisers And Petrochemical Corporation Limited has been re-elected as Chairman for the year 2008-09. This is the third term as Chairman for Shri S C Mehta.
The Western Region comprises the states of Maharashtra, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Chhatisgarh and Goa. Members of this region comprise of very reputed companies like Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertilisers Limited, Zuari Industries Limited, IFFCO, KRIBHCO, Gujarat State Fertilisers & Chemicals Limited, National Fertilisers Limited, Dharamsee Morarjee, etc.
The Western Region of Fertiliser Association of India contributes to more than 45% of the total production of Fertilisers in the country and hence is a very important region as it has the largest production capacity.
