Sanghvi Movers Q3FY08 net profit up 111% at Rs 17.76cr
Sanghvi Movers Limited (SML), India’s largest crane hiring company, has posted a 111.42 per cent rise in net profit at Rs 17.76 crore for the third quarter ended 31st December, 2007, as compared to Rs 8.40 crore in the corresponding quarter previous year. Net sales rose 65.38 per cent to Rs 64.39 crore compared to Rs 38.93 crore during the same quarter previous year.
During the quarter, the company has completed the expansion of Rs 86 Crores upto December 2007 as against the planned expansion of Rs 240 Crores during the financial year.
For the nine months ended December 31, 2007, net profit grew 53 per cent to 49.03 crore compared to Rs 32.07 crore in the previous year. Net sales for the nine months rose 38.04 per cent to 174.63 crore compared to 126.50 crore in the previous year.
