MindTree Becomes Microsoft Service Ready Partner
MindTree Ltd, a global IT Solutions Company, announced today that it has achieved Microsoft Service Ready Partner status. Through the partnership, MindTree is able to leverage field-tested engagement tools, templates, guidelines and best practices developed by Microsoft Services for use in consulting engagements with Microsoft customers in the areas of Search, Portals and Collaboration.
As a Service Ready Partner, MindTree is able to expand its customer reach while expediting the process of engagement. The Microsoft Service Ready program offers Microsoft Gold Certified Partners pre-sales tools, and technical and operational guidance that help partners accelerate time to market, increase operational efficiencies and improve the quality of their delivery to customers. These resources scale to the size of engagement and provide a consistent framework to use throughout the sales, delivery and support stages. These tools are deployable across the Microsoft portfolio in service areas including architecture planning, building and deployment, and operations support and optimization.

In a study commissioned by Microsoft, a leading analyst firm estimated the current market opportunity for services on the Microsoft platform to be $ 383 billion and expects it to grow to more than $ 490 billion by 2012. To take advantage of this growth potential, partners constantly need to refresh their offerings as technologies and customer needs evolve. Services Ready is designed to accelerate the learning curve so partners can provide greater expertise and efficiency to their customers.

MindTree’s Microsoft Technology Practice is 1000-plus people strong, offering application development and maintenance consulting, product implementation and solution accelerators. MindTree has invested in building deep expertise in MOSS 2007, Microsoft Dynamics, Office Business Applications, BizTalk Silverlight and Unified Communications. The practice is structured as a core delivery team that handles implementation and maintenance, and a set of enabling structures by way of three groups: the Architecture and Design group – for assessment of and assistance in project architectures, the Center of Excellence – for building mass skills in technology areas, and the Research and Reuse group – for building frameworks and researching new technologies.
The stock closed the day at Rs.472.60, up by Rs.6.70 or 1.44%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.485.05 and low of Rs.469.
The total traded quantity was 16599 compared to 2 week average of 89241.
