Minda Industries Limited (MIL), the flagship company of the Rs. 832 crore NK Minda Group, announced its unaudited financial results for the quarter ended 31st December 2007.

The sales are at Rs. 9717.48 lakh in Q3 2007-2008 as against Rs. 9755.93 lakh in Q3 of 2006-2007. The sales in first nine months of 2007-08 were at Rs 29786.76 lakh as against Rs 26219.17 lakh for the same corresponding period in 2006-07.

Profit after tax was up to Rs. 425.01 lakh in the same quarter as compared to Rs. 411.62 lakh in Q3 2006-2007. The PAT in first nine months of 2007-08 was at Rs 1123.43 lakh as against Rs 1080.52 lakh for the same corresponding period in 2006-07.

The earning per share was Rs. 4.05 in the quarter ended December 31, 2007, up from Rs. 3.92 in Q3, 2006-2007.

“The slowdown in two wheeler sales remain a concern area but our diversification strategy is in place and by the next two quarters, our revenues will start flowing in from our expansion projects as well as our Greenfield facilities”, says Mr. N.K. Minda, Managing Director, Minda Industries Limited.
