Kamdhenu Ispat registers growth of 86% in Net Income

Kamdhenu Ispat Ltd., India’s leading brand in steel, construction and housing sector has registered a growth of 86 percent in its total income of the first quarterly results for the year 2008-09 up from Rs. 5533.47 lakhs of the corresponding quarter in 2007-08 to Rs. 10296.20 lakhs this quarter. Profit after tax of the first quarter 2008-09 was registered to be Rs.354.11 lakhs up by 39 percent from the corresponding quarter of the last year.

First quarter result shows the robust performance level of the company which shows in the new business verticals that it is exploring to further capitalize on its potential and market understanding. Reacting on the first quarter results, Mr. Satish Agarwal, CMD, Kamdhenu Ispat Ltd. said, “Kamdhenu Ispat Ltd. has strong foundations and we believe in our capabilities and responsibilities. With set business plan and futuristic approach we are strategically moving ahead increasing our business verticals and increasing our business avenues.”

Kamdhenu Ispat Ltd. has adopted its franchisee business association model that believes in increasing the company’s brand base in association with various manufacturing plants spread across the country, and bringing about a uniform and set Kamdhenu standards in the multitude of products and services that the company is targeting.

The Company is already present across the country with a huge network of dealers and distributors along with a robust marketing network. The company has also adopted the business mode of stockyard marketing through which the company is directly selling the products to bigger clients as per their needs. These stockyards are strategically place across the country and are efficiently cutting the transport and time cost and meeting the supply and delivery targets on time.

Kamdhenu Ispat Ltd. is gearing ahead in its ambitious mission to expand its base beyond India. The company is already in the markets of Nepal in franchisee association with M/s Maruti Nandan Steel Rolling Mills Pvt. Ltd. The company has its set to enter all the SAARC countries with its various products in coming times. This is to gain a global identification.

Commenting on the company’s foreign ambitions, Mr. Satish Agarwal said, “Our India’s base is quite robust and we have created our own presence in the market. Kamdhenu is strategically launching new products in the market with an objective to enhance its market presence and play as a single window brand for infrastructure related products. The Company has recently launched Kamdhenu Plywood in the market. The product that was launched six months back has registered encouraging response from the housing sector. The Company is in the final stage of launching Kamdhenu paint under the brand name (Colour Dreamz). The company has set up its state of the art paint project in Chopanki, Bhiwadi, Rajasthan. The unit will be producing a whole range of paints such as Exterior & Interior Emulsions, Cement Paints, Water based Primers, Acrylic Distempers, Synthetic & GP Enamel, Solvent Based Primers, Wood Finishes, and Aluminum Paints along with Textured & Designer Finishes.

The Company is also proposing to enter into the marketing and distribution of Kamdhenu brand UPVC windows and doors. With marketing being its chief strength, the company is ensuring sizeable market outreach for each of the products entering the market. With its 38 franchisee based manufacturing units, a wide network of 2500 dealers & distributors and a visionary approach, Kamdhenu Ispat Ltd. is aiming to become a full-fledged construction material provider company that caters to every single need of its consumers.
