Kale Consultants & bmi announce co-creation initiative
bmi, the leading airline operating out of UK and Kale Consultants Limited today announced a co-creation initiative to jointly develop a financial decision support system for airlines taking the 2 year bmi-Kale association to the next strategic level.
In the wake of turbulent times in the airline industry with burgeoning fuel costs eating up almost 40% of operating costs for some carriers, this initiative is a step in the right direction for the industry. Airlines are seeking innovative methods to reduce operating costs by improving efficiencies in other internal areas of the business.The announcement was made in Mumbai on the occasion of the second anniversary celebrations marking the 2-year bmi-Kale partnership. Robert Palmer, Chief Financial Officer, bmi said “This new co-creation initiative is the ideal way forward in our relationship with Kale. This initiative is very valuable to us as it will provide us with better information to improve business performance and reduce costs, which is essential in the current environment.”
