Gayatri Projects posts 51.90% growth in PAT
Gayatri Projects Limited (GPL), the Hyderabad-based Infrastructure Company has posted a 51.90 per cent impressive jump in profit at Rs 129.67 millions for the third quarter that ended on December 31, 2007, compared to Rs 85.36 million in the corresponding quarter last fiscal.
The total income from net sales for GPL, a 9001- 2000 Company engaged in the execution of major civil works, rose to Rs 2052.35 million in the quarter ending December 31, 2007, a hike of 33.56 per cent over Rs 1536.61 million in the corresponding period last year.
GPL, which recently signed an MoU with realty major DLF to undertake road development projects on BOT basis, took on record its unaudited results for the quarter ending December 31, 2007 at the board meeting held in Hyderabad on Wednesday.
The Earning per share (EPS) was reported at Rs 12.97 in the quarter ending December 31, 2007 as against Rs 8.54 in the corresponding quarter last year. The cumulative EPS was reported at Rs 26.21 for period of nine months ending December 31, 2007
Commenting on the results, GPL Managing Director, Mr Sandeep Reddy said “We have registered an impressive performance, which is reflected in the figures. With the thrust on infrastructure, the company’s dream run will continue in the coming period”.
