Era Infra Engineering Ltd, an integrated infrastructure development company with a pan India presence through its different verticals received orders worth Rs 1221.75 crore during the Q4FY08.

The amount of orders significantly added to the order backlog and till date the consolidated order backlog of Era Group stands at Rs 4755 crore .

During the quarter the construction and contracts division of Era Infra Engineering Limited received contracts for construction of housing sector worth Rs I47 crore.The scope of work involved the construction of Industrial workers housing and development work at Bhorgrah and EWS houses at Samaspur Khalsa from Delhi State Industrial & Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (DSIIDC).The contract awarded from Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) valued at Rs 126crore involves the work of expansion and structural works for new CRM complex at Bokaro steel plant. Era Infra in JV with KMB of Ukraine received orders worth Rs 226 crore for Expansion and modification of terminal building for International operation at CE Pune by Airport authority of India and for construction and design of underground station at Sector-21, Dwarka by Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Limited. (DMRC).The division also received work for construction of CBI head office building, New Delhi by National Buildings Corporation Limited .The total value of he contract stood at Rs115 crore. The company had also received contracts worth Rs 500 crore for National Highway Projects.

The RMC division also received prestigious orders worth Rs 24 crore and the scope of work involved supply of RMC for common wealth games village, New Delhi and for supply of RMC for construction of residential complex.
