Educomp receives Rs 109cr contract
Educomp today announced that it has signed an agreement with the Department of State Education Research & Training (DSERT), Government of Karnataka for implementation of Computer aided education in 1571 schools in Karnataka.The order worth Rs. 109 crore will be implemented over a period of five years.
Educomp also announced that it has signed an agreement with the Government of Chattisgarh for imparting Computer aided education in 52 hostels.
With the above orders, the total number of schools in the Educomp ICT portfolio has gone upto 8912.The latest wins will extend the reach of Educomp’s services to approximately additional 800,000 students, thus taking the total number of students served by Educomp to 5.8 million in India.
