Bharti Airtel today announced the launch of Equal Monthly Installment (EMI) options for customers who want to purchase Apple iPhone 3G. Bharti Airtel, in partnership with VISA, will offer easy financing options for all VISA cardholders of ICICI bank, HDFC bank, SBI Cards and Citibank.

“Our partnership with VISA will provide a new opportunity for consumers who aspire to own the revolutionary iPhone 3G,” said, Sanjay Gupta, Chief Marketing Officer, Mobile Services, Bharti Airtel. “The EMI options have been designed to make it simple, convenient and affordable to purchase iPhone 3G. We are confident that initiatives such as these will further widen the market of iPhone 3G in India.” VISA card holders of ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, SBI Cards and Citibank intending to purchase iPhone 3G can visit select Airtel Relationship Centres for more details regarding the EMI options. SBI Card holders can call 39020202 or 1800 180 1290 (if calling from BSNL/MTNL line) within 10 days of purchasing iPhone 3G to benefit from the EMI options. Citibank card holders should contact Citibank Customer Care and request for EMI conversion.
