ABG Shipyard delivers vessels to Lamnalaco Grp & Tag Sea
ABG Shipyard Ltd, the country’s largest Ship building company delivers one vessels each to Lamnalco Group and TAG Sea Logistics.
For Lamnalco group, the private ship building major delivers – LAMNALCO MAGPIE, a 53 meter long 90 Tonne (Bollard Pull Azimuth Drive Propulsion) AHTS fitted with Kongesberg Dynamic positioning (DP-1) equipment to hold position in rough sea condition. ABG has so far delivered nine vessels, including the present one, to Lamnalco Group. The Company is also building another five vessels for the Lamnalco group.On receipt of the vessel, Mr. Neil Graham of Lamnalco Group said, “The Lamnalco Magpie is the forth of the ABG built ‘M’ Class vessels to be delivered to Lamnalco and again we are very pleased with the standard of construction. The Magpie has been delivered on time after undergoing successful sea trials off Mumbai and will leave today to commence FPSO support work in West Africa. We look forward to receiving more vessels of the same class from ABG, including several of the more powerful, 100 tonne bollard pull version”.
The second vessel delivered is TAG Blue Hawk. It is a 63.4 m Long, 80 T Bollard Pull Anchor Handling Tug Supply (AHTS) Vessel with DP-1 capability. It is the First vessel to be delivered to TAG Sea Logistics Ltd. ABG Shipyard is building another two vessels for the TAG Sea Logistics Ltd.
