Koutons Retail tanks as NSE suspends trading from Apr 26
Koutons Retail India has plunged 13% to Rs 10.55, its all-time low, after the National Stock Exchange said that the equity shares of the company will be suspended from trading w.e.f. April 26, 2012 for non- compliance with certain provisions of the Listing Agreement.
“Notice was sent to the Pearl Engineering Polymers, Koutons Retail India Limited and Vikash Metal & Power Limited seeking reasons for non- compliance with certain provisions of the listing agreement. The companies have failed to respond satisfactorily to the said notice of the Exchange,” the NSE said in its press release.
A combined 727,148 shares have changed hands on the counter so far on both the exchanges.
