Hi suzane, rightly said, but RSI alone cannot predict stock movements, try using it with other indicators such as MACD, Ichimoku clould, DMA's etc. If the stock traded below its Ichimoku cloud, along with its 9D and 26D avg, and if RSI is ni 70+ zone, then you may go short on it

Hi suzane, it is formed with the averages of the last 9 and 26 days, if a stock crosses its Clould as well as its Base and Conversion lines, they you may think of buying by also considering its RSI

Hi Kb, If you inspect the charts of SelMcl, you'd notice that the scrip was on decline for the last 3 weeks, but few points have been noticed which are very interesting.

1. It has been consolidating in the 61-65 range for the last 4 trading sessions
2. The Price entered inside the 5-day Price Action Channel (PAC) yesterday and remained inside the PAC completely today (PAC range as on today: 63 - 66 indicating it to give a bounce from here).
3. The Negative volumes have been decreasing indicating a possible change in direction.
4. The RSI had gone low to 8.7 and increased to 15.4 in 2 trading sessions
5. The Slow %K had gone to the lowest level of 1.3 on 29/3 and increased to 6.5 today (Usually Slow %K below 3 results in a bounce.)
6. The Slow %D had gone to the lowest level of 3.1 on 30/3 and increased to 3.3 today (Usually Slow %D below 5 results in a bounce.)
7. The 30-day CCI oscillator had gone to a low of -250 on 18/3 indicating a mid term trend reversal.
8. The 30-day CCI oscillator has been constantly increasing since then and has come to -110 today. Above -100 short term downtrend should end.
9. The 6-day CCI oscillator already became positive today and is at +14. But I usually
prefer to enter into a trade above +25 for 6 day CCI. Any small upmove tomorrow will raise the 6 day CCI oscillator to above +50.
10. Entering it at this level has a very low risk as a close below 63 levels (lower levels of PAC) disapproves to remain in the trade and can exit it the same day with minimum loss.

My Conclusion: Any upmove tomorrow will lead it to 67.5-68 levels (converging point with the 15 day EMA) and can see 72 levels (converging point with the 30 day EMA) in short term. And if markets remain good and it manages to cross the 30 day EMA, then can see 78 levels and 85 levels or even higher. Negligible risk, Good gains.

Hi Jai Anand, The delivery of the shares are made on T+2 day and settlement made on T+3 day. In case of a failure to deliver the shares on T+2 day, the shares are sent for auction on the T+5 day. If the shares are been able to be procured in the auction (generally the highest price from the T day to the T+5 day), then u get the shares at that price or else heavy penalty is charged by the stock exchange and the buyer(s) of the shares are refunded the highest price from T day to the T+5 day.

Note: T refers to the Trade day.
