Q1) Regarding Nifty options which strike price to choose?
Q2) For Nifty Why there is strike price of 5700/2000 . On nseindia i find there are trades for this level.
Q3) On expiry (tomo) what exactly happens with call/Put.

Strike price for nifty options, strike price is a price on which believes that the the nifty spot will go above(in case of call) and below (in case of put). say if i buy a call option of 5200 strike price, and the spot goes above that point than my profit will be the difference between the two plus some volatility and time value. for selecting the strike price , one should look to but the options with strike price near(in general) to the spot. like at the moment one should look to buy 5200,5300 strike price

There is nothing like 5700/2000.....not sure abt wht ur talking about :)
On Expiry, the options are settled according to their positions, either they expire worthless (if ur strike price minus the spot is positive in case of call,or if spot price minus the strike price is positive in case of put) or the profit is accounted to ur trading account.

The profit depends on your positive difference between spot and strike price. Depending on call/put .

Thanks $$$$ and CB.
I want to clarify why Nifty 5700(highest) and 2000 (lowest) are also traded in stock market. Is there any point to trade 5400 call for dec expiry?
