Hi uniyal, gmdc is a short term play..it can see 145-150 in short term..real estate has not been doing much.. not sure when they will start moving

if nifty moves by up 50 pts, than the profits for long in call and short in put for same expiry and strike price would be slightly differenrt or is the profits in writing put fixed at a particular price ?,

Hi CB,
i think the profit for shorting put option would be fixed at the premium ( 50 * option price) in case the shorted option is not squared off till expiry
