I am living in Chennai and my farm is about 100km away.
I could not trade today.I had to leave to my farm in very heavy rain to supervise some precautionary works being done in my farm (to counter the coming cyclone in TN and Andhra)

Hi cerulean, Ya,I have more than enough laborers to support me. It is a 120 acre farm with about 40 laborers working day and night.

Hi Priyanka,ok..cool..Yes ..I know .I have inherited an estate [150 acres] and an agricultural land [92 acres].. Estate is managed by managers , who have been with us from our grand pa's time I have no hands on experience..in running it ,But my aunt [uncles wife ] is finding it tough ,as uncle has passed away recently .. My portion of the estate is close to the main bungalow, but I do use the jeep to go about ..when ever i go there which is not too often ..The agricultural land is not maintained ,and a few of the elder relatives want to sell it off ..But I myself would like to retain mine ...'as it is by the river and our ancestral temple , is close by ....it is scenic with a river running accross... [My cousin has built a lovely place in his portion , and he has a speed boat to ply around .. accross is the forest .. he lights it up with flood lights ..during parties , and it is a really peaceful ,charming place ..] But mantanence there is a problem .. all are educated now ,,so no farm help..

Mine is also an inherited property.Maintaining the farm,as you know,is extremely difficult.But, I take it as a challenge.I never let anything go into the hands of Managers.
I myself get involved in each and every activity.
But, in Tamil Nadu,sufficient labor is available.

Hi Priyanka, ok..,The estate and the agricultural land are far apart in different districts .. And I am totally new to this ,and as such not getting involved hands on ... My father being a doctor hardly ever , visited any of these ..And so I am for now just enjoying the benefits .. Thanks to all the elders .. And yes , AM ashamed .. I will gradually ..learn..leave it open for now..

Subbu, It's difficult to say for intra-day but can buy it in every dip for a target of 1100+ in short-term period. ICICI has good support @ 1040/20, if breaks, it may fall further to lower levels and It has good resistance @ 1060-1070 levels, if breaks it may rise further..
I guess it's better to enter in dips after full-fledged fall, wait for some more time till Friday..
Priyanka, Yes, it's bit unlikely to touch 5850/5900 by Diwali but am expecting it before Nov-end, most of the people were optimistic on festival sentiment. Need to wait till Nov 5th for clear picture. Once again thanks for sharing this info..
