Hi Gitanjai, Thanks a lot for the links.
I checked the livemint site. The format is excellent compared to nseindia.com but I need to check for the accuracy of the data on livemint. Wipro had a split on 15th June which is not listed there. I will need to check for others as well.

Hi Kb, Yes, you can extract info from any site. If the site requires a login / password ... the same can be passed in form of a cookie and the acknowledgement cookie can be used to transact data from that site.
Simple data extraction from any site can even be done using excel.
