    Hello

    I am 28 years young.I am investing in two mutual funds via SIP since 2012 and I will keep investing for next 20 to 25 years.

    1 IDFC Premier Equity fund-regular- 2500/-

    2 Franklin India Prima fund_regular – 2500/-

    I would like to stick with IDFC fund because it is based on consumption theme and I think it will do well and I invested in Franklin Prima fund on based on its long track record.

    I can take risk so I only want to invest in midcap and whenever market falls around 10% or more than 10% , i also invest lumpsum , and i am fine with volatility of market. i just want to be in right midcap mutual fund for long term.
    My questions are as follows:

    1. Am I thinking in right direction ?

    2. Are these good fund for long term for the purpose of retirement planning?

    3. I can add another 4000/- in SIP, so should I invest in new midcap fund or in the same existing fund?
