Hi Subbu, Margin required to trade in futures generally ranges from 10% to 20%. Most brokers provide a list of span margin for each scrip on a daily basis.

Hi Subbu, Trading in futures is a high risk activity.Be cautious .....Just for information.....For buying or selling a future contract you need to keep a margin amount ranging 25000 to 50000 for 1 lot.
