Hi Kb, The link is fine, but quite a number of parameters used there are unnecessary.
q parameter is used for querying a particular stock or index, (.NSEI for Nifty)
x parameter is used for exchange (NSE for NSE and BOM for BSE)
i parameter is used for time interval in seconds (60 represents 1-min tick data)
p parameter is used for period in days (1-15 for last 1-15 days)
f parameter is used for format (d=time interval count, o=open, h=high, l=low, c=close)
df parameter is used for difference (cpct mean change in percentage)
auto parameter is used to autofill unspecified parameters (1=true, 0=false)
ts parameter is used for timestamp (the numeric value shows the coded date and time - decoding method beyond the scope of this post)
This data can be used in most of the charting softwares.

Hi Kartik, I negotiated with Religare for trading charges. The offer made by them is to pay 25,000/- for 1 year as trading charges in advance and the rates offered by them is 0.01% for intraday, 0.1% for delivery, 0.01% for futures, 25/- per option contract. The only catch to this is that I need to consume 25,000/- within 1 year. What do you think about this offer?

Hi Sunil Rao, Gm, 25/- per option contract mean per lot? If so, i think 25/- is bit high. Ventura is offering 18/- per lot and that to one side only for intraday. check wiht them.

Hi thavva, GM, Thanks, Its 25/- both sides but I will confirm it again with them. I mainly trade in futures and currently paying 0.025% with Indiabulls, and find 0.01% quite attractive.
