Ex I bot 6000 call Opt Dec 40 lots (2000) for 42/lot.... UWd I make profit if I sells it for 44/-... Actually I wantted to know the real cost including all charges...

Hi Mac, yes, if you buy 1 lot of nifty call at say 100, total cost of lot is 100*50 (lot size) = 5000. brokerage is around 50 per lot. if it moves higher to 120, you sell at 120 * 50 = 6000. profit of 1000 minus the brokerage say around 100 for buying and selling.
