Hi Akash, Good the thing that u r trying to leave intraday is itself the first step to limit ur losses, no one can make money in intraday everyday, the main key to intraday trading lies in the fact that u shd exit the trade strictly if stop loss is hit (stop loss can be according to individual's capacity). If u r doing intraday and if the market goes against ur prediction u shd not convert ur intraday to positional. U shd keep a minimum fixed amt for intraday and shd never over exceed that limit. Nice to know that u hv realised something now... take care be cool, everybody can make money in market just keep ur mind cool and control ur emotions..

Hi arun143, Not to scare you buddy, but per my experience... irrespective of whatever a new trader does, he is meant to loose.

trading business is not a zero investment business.. like all other businesses, this do require investment of 2-3 lakhs atleast. i.e. one can start earning consistently only after loosing atleast 2-3 lakhs or may 5-6 lakhs

Hi arun143, I just saw ur msg abt hold stock in Margin. This is very risky as margin is the amount which you actually don't have. So if u hv stock of 5k, ur margin may be 60k or as per the broker policy. Now consider a scenario that you bought a stock in full margin and now the stock falls down by more than 10%, ur loss will be 6k while u have stock of worth 5k only, so even after selling all stocks, u will need to pay 1k to broker + brokerage as well.. So pls avoid Margin trading. Also, pls avoid shorting stock (even in cash) as once u short stock and if it goes up, u have to buy it at any cost even if it going up and up only. Things will be very bad if stock starts hitting UC. U will not be able to buy and System Admin will put that in auction where it will be bought 50 or even 100% of your short price.. again u will be in big big loss...

Hi Sam, None of them is good for short term. Especially for one month. If you buy, buy with the view of min 2-3 years hold.

Hi Arun143, Jst avoid the things which we have mentioned. Ur Money will be safe at least... I wud advise you to identify 3-4 stocks and keep investing them on regular basis for next 1-2 years. Buy in 1-2 Qnty every month or whenever you have extra money. Also, one of them you can buy for med term and sell that if in good profit....
