Hi vijay, Yes, u can go short in nifty futures or u can buy puts with a strict revised stop-loss of 5689. If u want to sell in equity, u can short Bharati Airtel for the target of 250-245.

Hi avik, Big hands write options and even the normal traders who got enough experience will do this but they need to maintain their account with more margin. On the other hand, its safe to write the far OTM options of coming month for example, Nifty Oct 4700 and 4800 puts are trading at Rs.5&10. One can sell these puts after conforming that the market continues it's bull-phase in NOV month and so the big fishes sell these OTM options aggressively like 50000 lots,1 lakh lots. Margin for selling options is calculated as,
[strike price+premium]*lot size*no.of lots*K [where K=0.14]
After all, while options pricing theory says that an option should not trade for less than its intrinsic value but things are rarely clear in real life.

Another bad day ... stoploss of 1290 in MCX jumped and have to book loss in it at 1260 :((
Secondly to cover the loss Today bought CLARIS LIFE 2500 @ 244 for BTST at the end of market ... how is it ?? Any risk in it for tommorow ??
Plz get me tommorows target with a stoploss in it

Ok sir i got it news ruined the call......Just guide where ever i am going wrong.as per my studies on cummins RSI came bellow 70 willium % also came down and on candle pattern today's candle lost more than 50 % of yesterdays gain and and MACD divergence has tend more towards zero and also it came below the support line 0f 502 when i put all this i come to conclusion that tomorrow again it will see a substantial fall of around 2% tomorrow
