Hi Robotguy, My Strategy for intraday gap up opening, Check the first 5 min bar ... If positive, wait for confirmation on next bar to break high of first bar and close above it. Close all trades near 3pm. Then go long aggressively. Vice Versa for gap-downs.

Eventhough buying options is safe and It looks attractive b'coz of cheap price if u enter into wrong trade your entire capital will be wiped off, instead buy good stocks in small quantities in Cash and try to build your portfolio.

Hi arun bj, Yes....But one think. How can we expect market will down or up on closing hour ???? Most of the analysts predicted >5100 closing this month, but nifty fell to 5040 and closed !!!!! Eny way I think naked shorting in options are very risky. I think arbitrage is a good idea that explained by SR earlier. Both Roboguy and SR can help you to learn that strategy.
