Hi thavva, Thanks for the info about CD equity. But trading charges of a lot varies as per price of the lot as STT is charged on Sale turnover and SEBI charges is charged on total turnover and these are not dependant on the broker. RKG is charging Rs.9 per lot per leg (taxes and other charges extra) and is the same for futures as well. After lot of research, I have found it to be quite cheap and finally selected it. Even Religare has offered a rate of Rs.18 per lot but they require a upfront non-refundable brokerage charges of Rs.25000/- for one year. After detailed enquiry, I came to know they only adjust brokerage within the upfront payment and not taxes and other charges. So my breakeven would be to trade about 1390 lots per year. Moreover one gets stuck with them even if one wants to switch to another broker.

Hi Abdullah, Thanks for the detailed info about RKG in the mail. As for my ITM short straddle strategy, I would start it as soon as my account is opened with RKG as I want to keep the charges to the minimum. :)
