Hi nithin, in futures you buy in lots.. eg: 1 lot of punj lloyd is of 1500 stocks..you cannot buy any other quantity than 1500. different stocks have different lot size.. you can also hold a short position in futures for short term. options is a risky bet.. stay away from it
