Hi CB, Someone told me about shorting nifty puts on expiry day. Since the put will be zero at the end of day, I will benefit from the amount which I shorted (like short 5400 put @ 10). Is it true or just the broker earning brokerage?

true if markets dont fall.. then u will b in loss. also, dont do it unless u know what options are and how they work... also, 5400 put will not be 10 rs today. high brokerage will probably absorb ur profit if ur not a regular options trader
