Continuing on yesterdays post need your views, example on Stock Options, (plz ignore square off day, penalty and all)
1)Holding 2000 Q | Coal India 420 CE @ 50 | Expired at 0 | Loss (1,00,000)
2)On Expiry day at 3:29 shorted 2000 Q | Equity Coal India @ 395 and say it closed for the day at 395 | And holding in margin.
Now post market will (1) and (2) auto square off, (395-420)*2000 = -50,000 Loss instead of 1 lac loss ??
