Hi Vivek Shah, If you have let it expire, go to your trading account and select to excercise option and you will gain its expiry value, otherwise the broker will do it for you, but they charge a penalty for it. Check it out with your broker. STT charges will also be charged as it has expired.

Hi Praveen, Sorry to know abt ur losses. Plz use the amount which you have now (Rs.3000/- as you said) judiciously. If u enter a trade, always always always plz dont forget to keep strict SL. A stop loss is something which you do not keep in your mind but in the trading software. I mean, if a SL is hit, plz take the loss and forget about the trade. Think, that was a mistake which you made and move on. Plz dont lament later. Opportunities will definitely come again. Now, having said that, when you are in profit in a trade, always book and take the profit in your pocket. After all, its better to take profit in your pocket than to watch it in your trading terminal. Is not it? It may so happen ---> for example, you are long in a share from Rs. 100 and you book profit at Rs. 110. Thereafter, the share went up to touch Rs.120. Now, again plz dont lament about Rs. 10 loss (opportunity loss) per share. Rather, I would say, be happy with the profit which you booked and look at other trades.
So, basically, strict SL (for real) and booking profits rather than watching it, should be the motto. What I have said so far ---> everybody knows but few practises. But believe me, plz try to follow what I said, and afterwards ( say after 1 month) INTROSPECT. I can bet, you will be in a better mood :)
