Hi imran khan, We need to capture Future and ITM option arbitrages. Say Nifty futures is at 5160 and 5100CE at 45, we get an arbitrage. Just short futures and buy call and hold till expiry. You locked in the diference. Similarly if futures is at 5120 and 5200PE is at 65, Just buy both and hold. This generally happens on day of expiry as there is heavy shorting of options and if there is a sudden move in the market, futures react instantly, but options lag behind generating an arbitrage.

Hi imran khan, Most Welcome. These arbitrages don't last for long as people fill the gap in a minute or so. But I will post them if I notice any. Today also when the upmove started, at 12:35pm 5200pe was at 100 and futures was at 5095. But 5 pts is too low an arbitrage trade and we had to hold it till expiry and bear trading charges. The option premiums are very low during last one hour of expiry, so we may find 15-20 pt arbitrages.
