@CB: thanks! this is my first shot at option, just for fun!
Can you guide me to some tutorials?
i m still nt able to understand! I use Odin Diet as my trading platform. I submitted an intra-day order (other option was Carryforward), & if it does reach the target price of Rs. 12 do i need to sell the same put option @ Rs.12?

Hi Vivek Shah, same here bro, all my profits were swept in the only month of december and now my gain/loss statement is zero :( , All my efforts i put throughout this year are drowned away, i lost around 40K due to volatility trying my luck with NIFTY Calls and Puts and i never succeeded, i often ended up buying it at higher and prices started falling.when the support was breached i squared off my positions and entered puts, Now Nifty started recovering, and i felt like... Indian Markets are you kidding me .....

Hi Lalith, Retailers showed up interests as Rcom has announced yesterday in planning to enter in 4G spectrum in Communication. So why got momentum today and on Monday if nifty too supports it wil go up some more !
Hi Gitanjali, U cant sell feb Call or Put as all of them will be illiquid for now.
Hi Vivek Shah, I know u are new to Derivatives. Only thing u have to keep in mind that in derivatives u are always doing in ur Bokeing House Margin. so Clear all futures as intraday or in a days of two.
Only enter in Call or Put in Stocks having Momentum that time. "Think twice before u leap a trade bcoz all profit and loss is yours. "
