Hi hari, its in Cash, normally you dont short stocks in Cash Market, you short in futures, exit from it at CMP. If you dont buy(cover) it today, then you will charged a fine from your broker, also the shares shall then be sent for auction on the 3rd day, so depending on the price of the stock on the 3rd day, your profit/loss shall be decided
