The company had fixed the Issue Price at Rs. 205 per equity share for its IPO of 45,50,000 equity shares of Rs. 10 each. The price band had been fixed between Rs. 195 and Rs. 205 per share.
The Bid/ Issue opened on 8th March and closed on 11th March 2011.
The IPO was subscribed 35.21 times. The IPO received bids for 136,169,880 shares against the 3,867,500 shares on offer.
The QIB portion was subscribed 21.87 times, while the Non-Institutional (HNI) section was subscribed 3.02 times and Retail by 2.67 times.
The book running lead managers to the issue were Anand Rathi Advisors Ltd.
The issue constitutes 27.08% of the post issue paid-up capital of the Company. Last month, the company had raised Rs. 200mn via a pre-IPO placement, by placing 1mn shares with SCI Growth Investments.
Of the total IPO proceeds, about a fourth will be deployed in setting up a manufacturing unit in Bangalore, while Rs. 240mn will be spent on brand building.
Besides, it will invest Rs. 250mn in its existing joint venture with Lifestyle Galleries of London, which will market, manufacture and distribute the brand ‘London Calling’ in the super premium lingerie segment and also cater to the exports market.
Of the balance proceeds, the company plans to invest Rs140mn in setting up Exclusive Brand Outlets that will aid further growth

Hi Deepak, percentage wise it would not be advisable as volatality range of every stock varies. For Nifty seeing the current average volatality, you could keep a max SL. of about 1.5%
