Hi CB..I asked a question in the morning on TCS options strike price...KK gave an answer. Would like your inputs too...as KK also felt to get more clarity from you...
TCS today closed at 2586....the strike price of 2500 is 60...I understand TCS future is running in ~45 rupees discount...why option price is also discounting ? When I check my net position the amount it shows currently is at a price of 86 and not of 60...I am confused..can you please explain....

Hi vijayk, I guess it could be possible due to expiry this week and chances of it moving higher from here until expiry is unlikely

CB...when I see the price of 2500call it shows 60 on terminal ...but when I see net position page...it shows the amount = Number of lot shares * 86....ideally it should show "Number of lot shares * 60....
not sure where this 86 came into picture...whole day I was watching...the price on the terminal is different from the amount it shows in the net position page......that is the confusion.....

Yes, everyone know that, I lost my capital due to clerical error on May 26, Since then, I took a breathe and started a blog to earn little money from blogging. Funnily, I got $0.50 (around Rs.26) for my last 15 - 20 days effort.
I feel, there will be only on problem comes with MARGIN. But one may not enter all the calls provided, but entering one after other also gives good returns compared to the amount of time spent on the trading platform. That matters a lot.
On the other side, about the advisory services's strategy is different. They don't have much time and interest to take position in every call they give. They take position selectively thus avoid risk.

Not sure of Aadhaar ventures. In our forum itself, 2 of us received message on the stock. It may hit or not. At the end of the day, you have to look for the traded voumes for the last 30 days and for today. Most of these kind of stocks are of small cap and trades in less volumes. If you like to try, invest Rs.2000 in it and follow the call. Max loss in a day can be 20% lower circuit i.e., Rs.400

Hi CB, Hi Robotguy, I already booked heavy 80k loss in Exide 170 CE :( Now holding just 3 lots of Idea 145 CE and Hindalco 190 CE + 12k cash in hand. I want min 2L in hand by end of this month. What should I buy or buy 1 more lot of Hindalco CE and hold with Idea for target 13-14 in both?
