Can one answer the query ?
Is it possible to buy and subsequently sell options (1-2 lots) with over all investment of 20-30 k ?

Hi Priyanka, Nifty likely to be range bound tomorrow: 5415 - 5485. You may trade in both directions within this range.

Hi nv, yes, you may easily buy options within your budget. The margin required to buy options is the trade rate x lot size. But options are very volatile and your entire investment is on risk. Try reading this before you start trading in options.

Hi nv,
Investment to buy options > premium x lot size
Investment to sell options (write)> Needs margin ( varies with broker)
The selling of options( before expiry) that u bot >> is called sq off ..

Hi nv, Option writing is very risky & can end up in unlimited loss. max loss in option buying is the premium.
