Hi Kb, If you hold ITM Calls / Puts and let it expire, you get the option to excercise them. And in such a case, STT is charged as it is considered delivery on the value of the stock / Index at expiry and that adds to your expenses. Always note F&O trading does not attract STT and as such is cheaper. :)

when tata steel was @ 625 today , 640 ce was around 1.5...now its closed @ 627...still ce price is 0.50..why is this so?

CB, if markets sustain above 5430 tomorrow then i think 5400 pe will come down drastically ? I'm holding 6 lots at this point and what should be the exit strategy?

As regards to the Tatasteel chart, my guess is some fellow's buy market order got matched with some cunning person's sell order at 737. But can my thinking be justified? I can be awfully wrong. Correct me plz if I am wrong
