Nifty August Future: (4851) Consider for this week...Break below 4801 it'll fall down to 4782-4774 initially which is a nearest crucial support. A close below 4774 it'll fall down further to 4723-4712 & 4677, consider 4677 a most crucial support from where bounce back not ruled out. In worst scenario a close below 4677 it'll heavily crash down to 4631, 4564, 4526-4510 & 4449-4437.
Upward side 4872 & 4904 nearest resistance. Crossover above 4904 it'll surge up to 4942-4951 & thereafter to 4990-5014, sell on higher levels keeping stop loss of 5100

Hi Niftylearner, here’s some basic info: Ca and PA come in Futures and Options. In Options for a set of stocks there are calls and puts know as CA and PA at every levels. eg: Unitech has a CA at 90, 80, 70 as well a PUT 90, 80, 70. A trader thinking that Unitech might touch or move higher to 90, might enter 90 or 80 Call (CA), now if the stock moves up, then the price of the CALL will rise and at the same time the price of the PUT will decrease (since a put is bought when a trader expects a stock to move lower), calls and puts are available at cheap rates, i.e ranging from 3000 to 10000, on the other hand, in Futures you buy a set of stocks, each and every set has a minimum value of 3 Lacs, so a Unitech set might contain more than 3500 shares and the profit or loss is decided as per the Market price. Yes, hold DCHL and Andhra for some time, they can do well

hi kartik i plan to enter ongc call 300 tomo .. because us trading higer it ll open definetly above the resistance of 290 ... the 26 days and 9 days moving average ll today moved above 150 days moving average this is the positive sign for the uptrend ..........and rsi also near 70 level ... this time is 3rd time bulls pushing price above 290 level (triple top formation )

Hi Kartik, Thanks Hi YOGI, Thanks .Hi Niftylearner, adding to the lengthy reply by kartik...In simple language one future contract is group of stocks (one lot) which has to be bought with certain expiry period and has to be sold (squared off) within that expiry period.
Suppose if you buy futures of Wipro of one month expiry then you have to sell it within that one month period.
Important - Future contract get expires at every last Thursday of every month.
to set up in your market watch .. chose NFO [from the drop down menu ] ..and chose indices ...and chose any for eg NIFTY /bank nifty etc.
Ask KB he can explain better, the rudiments.

correction..Future contract gets expired on the last Thursday of every month.
to put it in a nut shell-Future or derivative trading is the process of buying or selling stock future or index future for a certain period of time and squaring off before the expiry date.
