Hi Gitanjali, Sorry to hear about your uncle. Glad he is out of danger now :). Wishing him a speedy recovery.

You need not wait till expiry to close a trade. You may buy or sell as many times as you want till the expiry date and each will be treated as a different trade.

Each future of a different expiry date is treated as a different scrip and you can hold futures of different expiries even for the same product

Technically there is nothing as roll over. What you actually do is close a particular future trade and open a fresh future trade with a different expiry.

e.g.: You can buy a nifty june futures @ 5100 and without closing that trade you can short nifty july futures @ 5300.

Hi CB, Still working on my PWO indicator. Currently testing it on 30-min Nifty charts and results are near perfect. I'm myself amazed at the way Nifty follows it so closely with values of 5 for intraday trading and values of 15 or 30 for short term trades. Quite a few times I have managed to buy/sell at the exact peaks.

I still have to prepare a fool proof system for trading solely on this indicator even without seeing the price. This indicator has been designed with a range of -200 to +200 with -200 / 0 / +200 as support / resistance points and -100 and +100 as minor support / resistance (useful to place as trailing stop losses). Values above and below +200 and -200 indicate a strong uptrend / downtrend respectively and we may exit the trade the moment the PWO comes within its range or a divergence is seen in the PWO (most of the times at the peaks). The most amazing fact here I have noticed is that whenever there is an abrupt turn in the price, the PWO will be exactly at either one of -200 / 0 / +200 at the close of the bar where we may place the buy / sell order against the trend placing a stop loss just 5-10 points below / above the peak price of the bar and enjoy the trade till pwo reaches 0 or 200 or crosses 200 in the other diection.

Yesterday I managed to Short Nifty July futures at almost the peak @ 5377.5 at 12:30pm and covered it today @ 5331 at 12:00pm and again shorted it @ 5357 today @ 2:00p.m. and covered 50% @ 5324 today before close of session as Nifty today closed at a very crucial level (PWO-15 had crossed -200 at 3:00p.m. but it needed a close below 5317.75 to remain below -200 for continuation of the strong downtrend and finally the closing rate made it :) )

Hoping to make this system perfect and fool proof and useful to all very soon :) .
