Hai KK/RG/CB
As per my broker, it is possible to set a trailing SL only on a particular type of Order and an order made with trailing SL will be squared off at 3:15 @ CMP if SL or Target is not hit by 3:15p.m. Such an order is used only by Intraday traders and in such cases we cannot take the stock as BTST...(Please clarify if it is correct)
In today's case, I bought Axis Bank @ 1499.50 and was continuously monitoring it. It neither met the target nor hit CB Sir's SL of 1483. Finally I manged to exit it @ 1498.10 with minimal loss. I think if I had the stock with a Trailing SL, it would have automatically squared off at 3:15 p.m at a price less than 1483. Am I correct on this?
Further many of CB sir's calls may have to be taken as BTST as per his advice. So does a "Trailing SL buy" will work for his calls?
Please explain if the above stated matter is correct or not

Hi Jayson, Yes if u trade on margin certain brokers square off the position automatically by 3.15 or 3.30 but still it is your duty to check that the position has been squarred off...But u can change the order to delivery order also so that it does not get squarred off automatically..(Just speak with your broker and clear off all your doubts)...
