I 'd like to know though , there had been a break out ,wasn't there ....at 4941?Now does it hold good now ,as today's was a bearish closing [ I presume ... ]

Hi cerulean, Yes 4941 was broken but unable to sustain. I think the gap in charts needs to be filled, hence the call. With a SL as usual

Hi cerulean, Check at least 3 days 5 min charts. 4940 would be a good SL. But as it is positional, SL becomes 4975

I’ve tried to include sma , cross over’s … was very useful today .. does give early signals , if we use a a short one like 7…as it is there’s not much choice in TF’s ..Usually use 5mnts..

Hi SM, I do not have facility to check , 5mnts charts of previous days...
yes , during morning trading hours ,it hadn't gone above 4950 [today].... Hence as you suggest, 4940 wd be a reasonably safe sl...
And thanks for all the detailed explanations ... Trading isn't that tough ... even alone..
Had been too used to being spoon fed THANKS TO This portal...

Hi cerulean, Had dinner and sorry for the late reply. Yes SMA crossovers today yielded results, whatever may be the parameters :) If you take a positional trade, please note that I tend to discard the movements on Saturdays, but if we get sufficient downside we can book. Though I doubt, it will be on Saturdays. BTW, today EMA instead of SMA would have yielded better results. And one more thing... nobody is spoon feeding anybody... we are just having a discussion

Yes , i do change the initial set up from sma to ema ...And yes there will not be any movement on Saturday's in these ..I may trade in cardamom .. though ..and for nibbling small gains ..it is ideal..May try to go short in cardamom .. nearing it's resistance [I thought ] as well as over bought ...
There is link about this 21 -12 2012.. shall post that next...
