Hi uniyal, zerodha doesn't hve branches other than Main office in Banglore. but anyone who has used their services seems to b very happy. they charge 20 rs flat on any amount o transation in F &O. nd in equity its 0.01% or 20 rs whchever is lower. only negativepoint about them that i found aft my reasearch is as they use NSE direct platform, v can't trade on BSE listed companies. otherwise no one has gvn ny negatve feedback about them. u cn register online and a person from local branch of IL & FS whch is their demat partner will cme to collext form and docs at ur doorstep. i am planning to shift this month itself. hope ths info helps u to decide.

Hi aabha, GE. I believe you are new to options. Though you did not ask me, let me take the liberty to write a few lines. Any option's price consist of an Intrinsic value and a Time value. With the passage of each day, as we near expiry, the Time value goes on decreasing. On expiry, the Time value becomes zero and only the Intrinsic value remains. Now, if at expiry, the Option is an Out of the Money option, then the Intrinsic value also will be zero. Hence those options become worthless at expiry.

next week seems to be volatile.. usually it is during the expiry week. considering that nifty may hit both 5650 and 5800 and considering i dont know which one will hit first.

in that case, trading strategy could be either of the following or may be both if 5650 comes first:
1. buying aggressively around 5650 with SL 5620 for target of 5800.
2. shorting aggresively around 5790-5815 with SL 5820 for a target of 5650.

i think nifty futures would be perfect bet as Sep series calls are overvalued and may also cheat and Oct series options will be expensive
