Hi ram, Margin money is the extra money that is give to you by the brokerage house for Trading, normally it is given for intraday trades, Square-off means selling off your shares that you previously purchased

I have 5000 rs in my account and if i take margin money from broker and buy 100 shares @ 100. If the share drops to 98 rs then how it results.
Can you explain plzzzzzzzzzz.
Also what is the need of square-off the shares.

Hi ram, If you go in loss, the loss amount will be deducted from your 5000rs, Once you buy 100 shares you might to sell them in intraday, so selling off those shares in known as Square-Off(sell-off)

Hi sunil, hold shorts for now.. we already rallied in anticipation on a US rally on Friday,.. If we see a gap up opening and nifty moves higher to 4580-4600 you can avg it. nifty will be volatile and you will be in profits in coming days

How do we know the change in circuit limits for shares? The information regarding change in circuit limits from higher limits to lower limits is available in nseindia website. But i did not get the link to find any changes from lower limit to upper limits.
Who decides on the circuit limit for shares, is it SEBI or the individual company? Kalindee Rail has been trading in 5% range for quite few days now, How do I know when the circuit limit for this share is going to be changed?

Hi Jay, thats decided by the stock exchange.. we cannot be sure when the circuit limits of a stock would change.. to notice the change you can check it on bseindia.com by going into the stock quote page
