Hi ,
When will we get dividend ? Is it the time when they announce or the settlement date.. For example, If I own BHEL share and on 10th May they announce dividend and the settlement date is 3rd June.. So before 3rd june can I buy to get the dividend or should I need to hold it before 10th May.. after the announcement date if I sell the share. will I get dividend. Please clarify

I missed the oppportunity to short in Futures because of less capital available with me.
Morning PFC, Now Can Bank and Yes Bank. all got rejected because of less capital. :-(
