It made high of 6.25...Never panic and place any order immediately after the market opens...u should always wait for atleast 15 mins to let the market cool now then only u can judge the correct mood of the market....Fear and Greed both can make you loose money in the market.....So always be careful and try to control both...

The government will sell part of its stake in Axis Bank today through a block deal. The book has been launched at discount of zero to 5%. The centre will sell 9% stake from its Suuti portfolio through a block deal hoping to garner over Rs 5,500 crore.

Hi DM, Stop loss has already been triggered...as a rule exit if SL is hit...My main purpose of giving calls with very small stop loss is to minimize loss and to make more profit...If u loose 2 rs on 1 trade u can recover 4 rs in some other trade...but if u hold on to loss making trades and loose 12 rs...then u have to make profit of 4 rs. in 3 trades to recover your losses...Hope the eg is clear...

Hi ND, U are admitting that u did not place stop loss because of fear of loosing money....Now how much have u lost because of not placing stop loss....Just think... and u also know that market never runs on our expectations...else everybody who is short will expect the market to go down and whoever is long will expect the market to go up.....There are large number of players in market....so it is not very easy to predict market and there is no guarantee that SL will not be triggered and we will not make loss....But the only thing we can do is to minimise our losses...Please don't take me in a wrong way....I am just advising for all of you so that you can atleast protect your Capital and don't loose your entire capital with big big losses...

Now i sold SBI @ 1994 and then when it rose I sold it at 1704 again?

Hi DS, What u have done and what I have explained about Intraday trading strategy when holding more than 1 lot is totally different.
In the 1st instance u r exiting 1 lot at profit and buying it low and again selling..
What u have done is u hv average your selling price by shorting 1 more lot....
Can u tell me any specific reason why u shorted SBI at 1694 and again 1 lot at 1704 ?

I did it because i thought there was a Doji pattern happening around the 1700 mark...and it was a gap up so shorted at market opening at 1694...
I guess i should have exited at 1699 taken a 5 rupee hit and shorted it now at 1715 right?

Hi All,
As of now market is very Choppy. Intraday traders better minimize their quantity. Long term traders can hold until consolidation. I go with CB's support levels. Its really nice. I agree with him that 6350 is the support for Nifty now and only if it crosses 6600 we can expect market to go higher.
